Cuts metal like mad
there are some old kodgers who runs upholstery shops outta their garages around the back roads between parkland/spanaway/puyallup with only a small sign out in front of the yard. My old boss is a hodrod guy and has some badass work done for cheap from one of them, but there are several actually and he says they all do good work Quote Link to comment

kiznook
theres a good shop here in Vancouver, they do really good work, but it's a bit of a drive for you. Several years ago they did the front (bench) seat in my brother's 74 dart (black vinyl w/ leapord inserts), somewhere around $250, but he had to supply the leapord. I also had them do the seat for my 75 honda mt250 and that was only $60 and i think they put new foam in too!! anyway, good shop, they do ALOT of major hotrod projects and what not. If you want I could get contact info, or maybe even a quote, just off of I-5 exit 5 (WA) Quote Link to comment

Green Bastard
Mike, Don't go to Bright Auto Upholstery, unless you have a year to wait. That guy has a different excuse every day and projects coming out his ears. I have been waiting for a rear seat for like 6 months now. Quote Link to comment
naz
I do need some 68 seats in red :D If you want to bring up the seats I'm sure my co-worker Adam would take a look at them. You had the chance to meet him that one day at the shop. Quote Link to comment

pope_face
$350 is a pretty good price, as far as I've seen... I've been to one shop and they quoted me $800-$1,000 to redo the entire bench in plain automotive fabric... Mind you, I need the entire thing redone (I'm pretty much down to bare springs), but I think that's still pushing it. Only shop I checked, but I think if it's that much there, it'll be pretty close just about anywhere else. I'm considering doing it myself... it might not look the absolute best, but I know my way around a sewing machine, and it seems pretty easy to figure out some sort of foam/padding combination, and then at least I could do it in the fabric I wanted in a style I wanted... kiznook: How much do you think they'd charge to get an entire bench redone from the springs up? Or, could you get some contact info and post it up? Jason: Are you still getting that headliner redone, or has it already been taken care of? If not, I would recommend just pulling it from the car, spraying some 3M adhesive on it, and smoothing some new material onto it... it'd run you just the cost of a can or two of the adhesive, plus whatever it costs to get a couple yards of the material you want. ]2eDeYe
How much does it cost you guys for a headliner? I just got quoted $480  ! I found a headliner for my 620 KC for about $85, not sure how much the install would be as I'm installing it myself. You might try these guys... goliners@aol.com They have an ebay store as well...
