Pedro
What do you guys use to replace the leaded fuel filler on a 510/610? I'm sick of my 610 pissing out fuel from overflowing everytime I fill it up. Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment

LenRobertson
I asked this question on another list, and someone said a 280ZX one works. None at my local JYs, so I haven't been able to look at one myself. Anyone know? How about a 280Z? They are much more common in JYs than ZXs. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
I usually see more zx's myself, junk yards are funny like that though. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
280Z had regular necks, except in California. Datsuns in the 49 States didn't require Unleaded until 1980. But... this guy is in Australia, so I don't know when they went to Unleaded necks there. Putting an Unleaded neck won't stop the overflow though. The vent lines need to be hooked up properly and not be clogged, but sometimes even that isn't enough, due to modern petrol station pumps putting out more pressure than in the days of old. My '81 510 absolutely could not be filled at full power. I had to just crack open the pump handle. But it's replacement (the first got wrecked) doesn't have that problem at all. Quote Link to comment
