Damn, one more project I wanna do now. Already have a 57chevy front disc conversion I need to do, but the brakes are gonna be bigger than the current rims, and doing front drop spindles on that one.

4 wheel discs would be really nice, even just the fronts being disc would help quite a bit. What was the total cost of parts for all 4 corners? And are you in Santa Rosa?

Im in the east bay. All together the parts were probably $250 or so. The rear calipers were $13 a piece at the J/Y. I did splurge on new rotors at a whopping $16 ea. though!

Sorry. no I never did get back to the cables. If I remember right I have an issue with the height of my truck. I had to remove the brackets because they were about 1" from the frame and would have been destroyed at the first bump I hit. No really an issue for guys only running a few inches of drop but I have about 6" total out of the rear which puts the axle too close for the e-brake to work.

Sooner or later i'm going to notch the frame to get the extra clearance at which time I am going to put the Toyota pearch mounts and adjustable shocks on but I have a few other projects working right now and it parks just fine in first gear.......even on the hills of San Francisco!

Not a problem. That pathfinder I have is awesome! I mean I don't wheel it but still I've been in the snow 'deep snow' in both a 4runner and a pathy and goodness!! The pathfinder was SO much better!

I'd buy this same year again. Not all that sure but I think they only had the lSD ffor one or two years.
