Engine Angle

I searched through some threads here and can't find what i'm looking for. can somebody off the top of their head tell me what angle an L20B sits at in a 620? i could have sworn i have seen it here before, but when i searched i came up empty handed. the motor leans towards the drivers side, correct? (sorry, my datsun is 40 miles away at my buddies house, so i can't just go out and check it) thanks for the help...now back to my top secret project...

As far as I know, all L series lean toward the driver's side.....I have been wrong before tho..lol

No, it leans towards the passenger side. Unless you're in Australia. Then it leans towards the driver's side. Except AU 620s engines don't lean at all, since they didn't use L-series engines.

Er... my vote is on passenger side lean... But I'm just going on the transmission angles...

Unless you use a hard to find "Reverse Rotation Cam-shaft" :blink:

I've heard there's 11 degrees between the L and Z series engines. If the Z is vertical then the L is leaning 11 degrees to the pass side, right? I mean the pass side IS the right side, right?

 

If it would stop bloody raining I could measure the difference between the L ans Z trannys I have.
