Ya but FS5W60A's that have b310 embedded in the serial are used for the rivergate 5 speed swap on midget/sprites.

Which Tranny Fits my 1980 Datsun 210. I got the A15 engine (A-series) let me know and will you do shipping? if U dont I understand, thats fine.

You would require the FS5W60A transmission. I will ship but I cant let it go for the $200 like the FS5W63A's.... $550 shipped to your door Fed Ex ground.

 

I will open it up and inspect it before the sale though. I have not seen it in use.

The Datsun 210 (B310) can take the 63A 5-speed. You most just have get the auto driveshaft and an L-series clutch disk.

The FS5W63A would also require you to reroute the the clutch lines to the other side of the car.

No big deal though, just a heads up. I belive there is a slave cylinder on one of the 63's that can go with it, if you wish. yours would have the bleeder screw on the bottom if you used it on the 63a.

And the 63 can handle a supercharged engine w/o breaking... it's a better transmission.

alright thanks. That price seems pretty good. i gotta wait until spring now to strip my whole car. Not sure yet if Im gonna build up the stock A15 or put an SR20DET with a 5 speed.

Is the dogleg the 63a tranny? i'd love to have a nice backup for mine.

CharlieBucket, Yes the 63A is a dog leg trans. Let me know if you are interested in one or three LOL

Some of those 63A units have the clutch fork on the right, some on the left. I think the Rivergate/Morriservice kits need the right. If your's has it on the correct side for the conversion.... the trans CAN be used with a little more clearancing on the tunnel. Read worth lots mo' $$$.
