Don't think it's funny to ask that question.

He hasn't done the auto to manual swap so ....

You'll need all 3 pedals from manual and that's including the gas pedal.

If you don't, brake and gas will be very close to each other.

clutch line

Clutch MC

Also some minor wiring so you can start the engine.

I'm sure there's other stuff to consider and it's documented here somewhere.

datzenmike What pl521sss said and don't forget to remove the spacer under the 'flywheel'.

datzenmike means the spacer on the crankshaft behind the flex plate.

Also get the clutch disk, pressure plate, thow out bearing, throw out bearing fork, slave cylinder with adjusting rod, hydraulic hose and steel tubing.

Do not forget when you get the flywheel to get the bolts for the crank & the clutch pressure plate as they are different than the automatic ones.

The automatic 'engine plate' will have a removable bottom part or an opening so the torque converter bolts can be accessed. The standard is one piece and covers everything from the bottom of the block. Engine plates are mounted between the block and the flywheel.

Both are from standards. Left is L series right is from a Z series motor.

If you find and swap in a stock 510 4 speed OR the 5 speed from a '77-'79 200sx OR the optional 5spded from an A10 they are the same length as the 510 auto and the old driveshaft should fit. Any other 5speed will be longer and the driveshaft will need shortening.

For one thing the longer 5speeds from a 620 truck, the 280z/zx or Maxima are more plentiful, probably cheaper and are stronger so shortening the driveshaft it a small concern. This is a big undertaking to convert auto to manual with a lot of things to consider and parts to collect. and all this on top of a motor swap. I would run what you have maybe swap in an L20B and flex plate and get everything sorted out running wise. You'll probably enjoy it..... for a while. Then start researching everything needed to convert over.

Read everything here and think about it.
