first of all.. good job bro. looks good. secondly, why would you be worried about a heater? if you guys use heaters out there in socal then you're a bunch of babies.. haha.

it's funny, when i looked at the pic of the roof donor, you said it came from the 620 in the background, i'm like, there's nothing but a trailer back there... didn't realize that blue bed was on a frame, not just a trailer, haha.

mark, just curious, is the back wall of the cab still pretty sturdy?
geez, i need to learn how to weld.

Thanks guys. I enjoy working on my trucks & like to share pics of my work. The back cab wall isnt that flimsy but it's gonna get angle iron welded to it so it'l be like a ledge for the roof to sit on.. And As promised heres the pics...Posted Image

Looks GREAT. I'd like to say "If we had nice weather like that here, I'd get more done too" but it really isn't true :D

Keep up the good work!

don't forget to tack that nut on for the seatbelt. Sure would suck if you forgot and have to take the belt out someday.

Mark, That would look cool if you could cut it and make a "PEEP" bubble window! I have never seen one on a 620.....you would be the first:D

Ok worked on it half the day & got the L brackets welded on the cab & roof. Will have to use flat bar on the cab because of the uneven back cab wall....

The seats are out of a 411. Had to drill 2 holes for the rear part of the seat.the front 2 lined up with the track perfectly. When searching for buckets look for a low back style seat. If not you'll be sitting too straight up & be close to the wheel.

that is unless you have a kingcab...

i was just thinking about what you mentioned about the rear of the cab not bein straight so you couldn't use an L bracket... if the strength comes into question i would think it would be simple to make some measurements and then cut out some area on the bottom half of the L, to fit around the bulged areas on the rear of the cab. then you'd have area to weld to on the back wall at the top and bottom and a lil extra support from the tabs. i'm sure you'll work it out to be super awesome. as you always do.

looks great mark
geez, i need to learn how to weld.

Tnip- im going to use a piece of flat bar for the back cab wall that'll go above the bulges.
Steroid- how do you pronounce that ?
