g-mam
My Advanced Auto ordered one, but it was just the Thermostat Temp Sensor. They can't get the EGR Temp Sensor. AutoZone told me the same thing. If any of you have a better source for this, send me a link. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
g-mam
I gots no yard. The few that I saw last week were picked clean. And that one was 1.5 hours away. I do not have those resources around here. Quote Link to comment

g-mam
I'd like to know the downside of just leaving it unhooked? Quote Link to comment
Bugeye
how long have you been running it with that wire broken? Quote Link to comment
g-mam
I think if finally broke loose when I installed the Igniter and Flamethrower last week. So I really haven't been runnig it. Quote Link to comment
Bugeye
try running it to see if it changes how the truck runs. From reading the manual all that switch does is open and close the egr valve. (somebody correct me if I am wrong please) If that is the case I wouldn't worry about it unless you have to smog the truck. Quote Link to comment
moparvwfreak
good luck. i asked at nissan and they gave me a price of like $80+ when i was aking about it. i have the same switch but its for the 2nd points on my 73. Quote Link to comment
g-mam
I decided to MacGyver it today. I took the EGR Temp Sensor out, and removed as much crap around the contact as I could. Looked like it had epoxy on it before. I used the dremel and the smallest tip grinder I had, kind of like a dentist tool. Cleaned about 1/8" of blade showing. Put a new connector on the wire, and plugged it in. Then I wrapped electrical tape around the sensor making a dam, and filled it with epoxy. Really looks pretty good and solid. Quote Link to comment
motavated
Yeah man that is the best way. I did that but it started leaking. I really hope yours holds up. Peace! Edit: believe me it would be cheaper to locate an l16 non smog intake and a non smog exhaust. Run that and take that shit off if smog is not a problem. Quote Link to comment
MDuarte
I'm so glad I found this post. Mine is in good condition except the guy who owned the truck before me cut the 2 wires. By chance can you tell/show me where these are supposed to go. I can't find the wiring in the Chilton guide.thanks! Quote Link to comment
