pics of the new suite i'm making in the garage?

just kidding!

haven't had any time to take pics - probably the furthest thing from my mind at the moment. i'll snap a few because thats the easy part - posting them requires time...right now i'm just venting because i'm at work and got so much to do at home, like get the motor in the car and fire it up and get it loaded to go racing tomorrow after work. I don't want to be here right now...

last one i bought was $130 (from vancouver) i got this one for $78 US so it'll be less money. but as far a local, nobody wants to get what you what YOU want, they want to sell you what THEY want. the dealership did not call me back after 2 days of calling them. $40 is real cheap - almost too cheap...

Is this a special thickness gasket???????

Felpro Headgaskets are fairly EZ to get. under 30$ look at Rockauto.com
Victor Renz from NAPA also.

importedcarparts.com

Lordco out of Canada.
Or Contact Byron510 on here or the 510realm as he live in Vancouver area.

nissanparts.cc ,superceeded L20 gasket which is 85mm used for the L16/18/20
http://www.nissanpar...?pn=11044-u0804

Unless this is a special gasket this is usually a common part. Most might not have them ready in stock in every store but should have parts in a day or so.

i used a V/renz gasket once and the car over heated almost immediately - took a while to burp it. i have been told by a few people who race to never use anything but the OEM gasket, i have done that and had no problems. i don't think its special or anything, the aftermarket ones are just cut-rate and don't meet the same spec as the OE one.

I use the OEM gasket also.
But i do have a felpro and Victor Renz in my my stock of parts. Im sure for a stock or near stock motor its OK.

Its getting in the higher compression and when your overbore a L18/20 that the stock gaskets the bore nears the edge of the gasket.

So Motorsports is selling the 88.5mm at a good price what Jeff Hino has told me and would be a good time to get them.

My speakers were grounding out on the body in back. I didn't want to cut back there so I insulated the holes instead....with duct tape.
Worked on the wipers some more. Managed to get the existing wiring out of the coupler without breaking it. Replacement motor is good (mazda or something) but none of the wiring to power it works. blahhhhhhhhhhhh
Why are all my vehicles box shaped?

Man I looked at mine yesterday. The po put in some honda seats of some kind which are comfy and look pretty good but they are NOT mounted very well. I gotta get them out and redone cause I'm guessing a good roll would probably disconnect them!

i ran into a bit of confusion - i got a gasket from the guys in Vancouver, and it had a copper seal around the oil pressure feed hole and the hole in between the cylinders. the one i got from Colorado had a steel or stainless ring - both from Nissan, but both were different. i'll post pics tonight with PNs - but i guess there is more than one 'proper' gasket.

let me know how the panels fit. A write up with pics would be sweet. I keep wanting to bid on them, but Ive heard mixed reviews on the carbon fiber products (fitment wise).
