What did you do to your dime today?

Didn't do anything on the 510 today but Saturday I drilled the socket head cap screws that came with my Ermish rear CV axles so I can safety wire them once they get installed after I return from Cali. Then I'll do a string alignment with my newly installed FutoFab adjustable T/C Rods and ready it for the drive to King, North Carolina, then to Summit Point Raceway West Virginia for the East Coast 510 meet weekend of May16th.

Damn, thats a hell of a trip!

I love this car since I saw it in the 510Again monthly issues way back . Glad to see you keeping it in great shape.

Lots of work, polished back up the valve cover , and the paint. Just need to clean the glass and polish up the chrome and finish cleaning back up the interior and shes ready for spring :)

Well it gets Dry washed with a spray i use, i dont want to give her any reasons to rust, shes got a few spots that i have under control from teh roads up in canada, so i do my best to keep it dry as possible. I spray her, wipe and buff her, then wax her and im done.  Why she always looks so good and shiny. :)

Got in last night and could smell a hint of old gas in the building. Looked downstairs at the 70/510 and the fumes were coming from her. So I undid the gas cap to let any pressure escape then when I get back from having coffee I will figure out what's up with that.

IMG_20141111_124500.jpg I guess one thing I will have to do now is clean out the trunk.

I had it brought (most of the way) home!!! I still have to sell a truck or a Subaru before I'm allowed to bring it all the way home :-( So she is sitting on a good friends property for a bit.

The paint was $73.30 for a pint from Wesco but there were other charges to have the aerosol cans filled plus the couple cans of primer. I wish I could afford to just get my whole car painted but it's just not in the budget right now. It's the original color, which is what I'll be going back to when I do get the paint done.
