Gotta get this motor together this summer.

Plan to put it in the blue sedan and lower it with a roll cage or bar.

Im sure you get this all the time, but if you ever want to trim the herd i would love to take this guy off your hands.

Every time I pull one out the garage. If I ever trim the heard Ratsun folks will be first to get a crack at one. One good thing is All that stuff in the car, on top, and under it is all the pats for it I collected way back(poly bushings front steering parts, sway bars ( front and back). The L20B is all ready to be assembled, got a set of Mikuni carbs for that. 280zx struts for the front, old school springs for it front and back ( will probably change that to new school stuff), 240 z seats I plan to get redone. 300 z wheels with tires I had planed to use but that may change. Even bought the paint (it was kinda expensive even way back). Still never got a roll cage. But there she sits. But I am not giving up. I have to say I do love the sss trim for the front and back that kicks up the look of the car. Maybe one day.

Thanks

I use them too, @ work & on my cars. They work great for license plate screws too. The tool we use at work & the one I have is called Diamond Grip. You have different size inserts & different thread pitches from fine to coarse or standard to metric.

Crap! Why did I not think about that?!?

I use these stupid things for everything, then spent 5 minutes fighting to get the bolts and nuts on for my 1200's license plate (real bitch if you've ever done it).

I know what I'm doing this weekend...

Yup, I was having a hard time with my 64 Chevy 2 get the license plate on, put the diamond grip inserts in.. problem solved! I'm like you datsunfreak, I use them whenever I can.. looks clean too.. I try to use stainless bolts so it stays looking clean & they don't rust..

Got my new windshield installed after sitting in my bedroom for 4 months. It's so nice to be able to see where I'm going. Old one was pitted and hazy between the layers of glass. Couldn't see shit when light hit it straight on. Cost $50 and took the guy half an hour to install. I did the prep work beforehand.

Since I don't have a heater for the defroster vents to be functional, nor do I have a speaker in the stock location, I used some scrap pieces of exercise mat I had left over from another project, to block off the uglies beneath the mesh. Looks much cleaner.
