jovial_cynic
I just picked up a Yamaha SR185 Exciter motorcycle, and the previous owner had the carb taken apart. I *think* I've put it back together, but whenever I let the fuel flow into the carb, gas starts streaming out the overflow hose. I figured that floats might be stuck, but after opening it up and taking a look, nothing appears stuck; everything moves just fine. The carb is a 34mm Mikuni. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment

jovial_cynic
Actually, I figured if out. While the float moves just fine, the tab that pushes the float needle was bent down too far, so I bent it back up so it comes in contact with the float needle better when it rises, and voila! Problem solved. Quote Link to comment
