I have an ITB setup planned for the VG as well but its slow goings so... I might just stick the stock manifold back on and call it good. lol.

wow, very nice work. Not a lot of people go as far as to put on an external wastegate. That looks like one serious turbo motor. How much boost does that run? and is that a T3/04 or a straight T4?

 

the truck looks good too... :cool: just stick the stock intake back on and drive it. Maybe do the Pathfinder intake or something later... with a cowl hood to clear the manifold

its a t3 t4 with a .63 a/r on the hot side and a .60 on the cold side, I dont think it will support much more than 400whp MAX. Thats plenty for me but still I am gonna want more later. I havent the slightest clue how much boost I am gonna have to push to produce that kinda power. The motors got a little work inside and that will probably help me keep the boost level reasonable. peace.

What are you going to run for fuel management?

EMS is gonna be a system called the PRS4 its made by "perfect power" and is basically an overglorified MS but with fewer options. lol I bought this EMS long before MS was popular and for a different project. Since I have it I might as well use it and its coming back in popularity too.

 

Far as the Z car section goes, maybe I will do a write up of some kind. Like switching too 300zx rotors and toyota calipers or something. peace.

I'm switching to Z31 rotors and calipers on my 280ZX.... someday.... maybe tomorrow :D

 

400whp is plenty. After about 350 guys have said that even with a 3.7 LSD there's just too much power to put to the ground. The Z has major traction problems. Its just too light and small for that kind of power. So if you get near 400, you'll have more than enough power to play with.
