The dictionary!

Hahaha, there won't be a whole lot of off the shelf stuff anymore, but this forum and a few other ones are good places to look...ie dimequarterly, 510 realm, craigslist...

Good luck.

Where can I find Proformance parts for my L20b????

I don't know your year, but if you still have a points distributor, switching to a later EI model will provide you with a hotter spark and eliminate the points altogether. A Weber 32/36 carb swap is a popular up grade for replacing the carb. I would forget headers, certainly not worth the effort and poor return. The cheapest performance increase is to tune up what you have. Adjust and set timing, carb, valves.

E-bay is another source for parts for sale.

mine is a 74 so i think i ll change the distributor from a EFI.......

Possible sources for the Electronic Ignition distributor are ,(but not limited to) :

'79 620 truck

'80 720 truck

'79 (maybe '77 and '78) 200sx

late '70 HL510 Maybe some 610s and 710s.

All the above had the L20B engines. The Canadian '80 and '81 200sx with the NAPS Z20E engine used a four spark head instead of the later eight plug and had a four wire distributor that will fit the L20B engine.

The '78 truck and earlier California trucks (and maybe the early 200sx) had an EI with remote igniter box. (mounted under dash) Worked the same but did not have the little black 'matchbox' on the side of the distributor.
