Use a rubber mount. Poly are way too stiff and transmits vibration and noise. Rubber is far superior for noise isolation. Only place I would use poly is on the sway bar link ends. It's terrible stuff.   The five speed could have been out of anything. The L series truck 5 speeds to '79 were identical to the Z car five speed mid ratio gearing. This also includes the 810 and Maxima. The '79 620 and '80 2wd 720 were a wide ratio with a much higher first gear which gets you off the line faster.   To determine or confirm your internal ratios do the following... Place in first gear. Mark the input and output splines. Turn the input 20 complete turns while counting the output turns.   Wide ratio...... 5.5 turns Mid ratio........ 6.0 turns (most common) Close ratio..... 6.5 turns (only on the '80-'83 non turbo 280zx)   Post some pictures of your five speed on the right rear and the top. I can sometimes ID a transmission by what's not on it. Use a wire brush and thoroughly clean the top front ledge of the transmission where the bolts go through to the engine. There may be some numbers stamped there.

The 219 or SSS head says 219 on it. If it says A87 it may say 219 at the front distributor side. The 219 heads had 1.5" or 38mm ports so look at them for porting marks. Closed chamber does not impart SSS status on an A87 head. A87 closed chamber heads can be 'converted' to SSS by porting the intakes.   A87 was an L18 head used here on the '73 610, and '74 610 and 620 and all were open chamber. It was used one year only on the '74 610 L20B. This was the first year the L20B was used. From '75 -'77 the L20B in the 610/710/620/S10 200sx used the U67 head. From '78 on it was the W58.

Well for the record I don't hate Tucker. That's reserved for ex presidents. Carlson is a product of our age and even 40 years ago might have been a fairly good investigative reporter.   First of all the 'collapse of testosterone in men' is kind of bullshit scare mongering. Typical Carlson trying to be Geraldo Rivera. It may be low and dropping but 'collapse'? Tucker should go work for Pecker at the National Enquirer. Pun intended... or not.   When you see stupid shit like this how can you take anything of his (Putin interview) as seriously.       I agree. Reporting and journalism used to be more respected, I won't say respectable but compared to today it was almost gosple. Newspapers paid well for good writers. Journalism began to nose dive in the '90s with the decline of newspapers. By 2000 it was seriously flawed. With the advent of the internet, you can print anything and you don't need journalists. Sure there may be a few good 'journalists' out there but they are buried under an avalanche of crap.   Just like politicians, journalists learn their craft and go out to 'make a difference' and 'change the world' but eventually they realize that it's not the way they thought it was and slowly, sooner or late, they stand under the streetlight with the rest of the  whores to pay for rent.
