Hey everyone, I'm Tim and I don't currently own any Dattos, but in light of one of my buddies (tristingrind) picking up one I'm sure I'll be learning about them soon enough. I do however own a '76 Mitsubishi Colt Galant Coupe and '77 Colt Galant Wagon, used to have a 91 Galant VR4 but due to some serious cancer issues it was in my best interest to strip and scrap at the time. I believe it was Bananahamuck (sorry, I forget your name lol) I met at the NissanParts/MitsuParts meet in Olympia back in August, real cool guy! I was the lone Classic Mitsubishi surrounded by Z cars and 510s that day lol. I know there's several other WA folks on here so...I'm located way up in Oak Harbor, WA, but often enough venture down to the Seattle-Tacoma area periodically. I'm sure some have seen the wagon at a few meets here and there or on the road.
Pics! We all love pics!
The Wagz! Before I swapped the gawdy stock front bumper out for a '75 chrome bumper.
Aussie Amber tails installed.
And my Coupe which as of late is under going a 4G63t 2.3l stroker swap

Just noticed this section and had to post up my eclipse aka Mischief, project. I got the car back in 2007 when I was 11. The car ran great but we never used til we got tired of fixing up another pos 1.8l eclipse we had. anyway, here's what it basically looked like when i got it, except paint was much worse:
a couple of months, my dad decides we should build something similar to a 76 camaro he'd built in the 80's. This meant fender flare's, wide wheels, a whale tail, and several other things I'm not gonna get into, basically all efforts were to make it more aerodynamic. I worked on the whale for a couple months and its still not finished, but here's a couple of old pics of it after the whale tail and hood bulges. Keep in mind that the current hood is just a mold for the fiberglass hood I'll be making. I'll update with more photo's tomorrow.

Yes you paid me $90
Yes I sent u a radiator and a fan with the promise of following up with 620 hood arms.
Yes I have not yet sent you the hood arms yet, still haven't found em to be honest
And yes you sent some PM's
But that where the truth ends and your BS and lack of understand of the truth begins
You don't know me, you have no idea what's going on in my life that are 10x more important than car parts.
So go fuck yourself and your public cry for attention.
I refunded you PayPal payment in FULL, your $90 is a drop ik the bucket bro, as for me....
Well ill let the friends I've made and countless people I've sent parts to speak for my reputation in response to your bitch ass post.
Fuck you, I'm done

In this book. I did 75 silhouettes, and the author never wrote what type of car it was so... mua ha ha. (And I gave it a Ratsun Badge. Represent!)
Here is the rest of the book.
This one is a children's book and is a sequel to one I did that came out last year. This is my 510! (Though I had to get creative with the proportions to make the characters big enough!)
So, even when I am not on Ratsun, I am on Ratsun.

We aquired this bus about 1 year ago, for a 1964 it's in really good shape. Although at first the body looked good with minimal bubbling with closer inspection I could tell there was some sort of body filler. After sitting the winter it was looking a bit worse, not much but rust bubbles make me sick! Anyways I'll type more later I just want to upload a few pictures of it.

Hey everyone! Got a call from King County Sherrif @ 5:00 this morning...my 521 was found with the thief driving it to boot!! So the Datsun gods were a smiling! I asked if the thief resisted arrest, but sadly no. But they got the bastard and no damage to the White Pony. They drove it from Seattle to Bellingham and then back, so I guess I know she is roadworthy!!If anyone is from Burlington, Washington and they are missing a sweet moped, it was in the back of my truck and the king county police have it. Well..its actually at the tow yeard still. Thanks for all the kind words...there is justice out there!!!

this is Aolë 2 say thank you 2 everyone that even looks at this. If you have done more then thank you 2. This has taken well over 3.5 hours 2 type so please take a few minutes 2 read (trust I filled n time last 2 b more accurate). If you don't know what happened then read thread. Per docs I would never regain consciousness or if I did I'd b a vegetable. Well neither ended up true. Basically, I feel like I have come far but I have far 2 go. I learned 2 talk but I still can't stand or walk. I was supposed 2 have no memory but I forgot a lot & I remember a lot. 2 things I do remember are rockets and DATSUNS. It was very nice 2 think about fixing my car but it's totaled. Ask anything you want.

So, yeah, that's my ride.
... it's that Starion in the background, haha.
Better include a Datsun in my pic so I fit in here:
I've crashed a few Datsun meets.
The ol' Saturday meets.
Back in the day...
Got tired of bottoming out. Shortened housings with MR2 Tokiko Illuminas.
Got tired of not being able to over speed bumps, so I built a full 3" turbo back exhaust.
Drove to Vegas.
When the engine bay was clean lol...
And where she sleeps at night.
Me smashing around Mt Akina... lol, not really.

hey guys, it's not a datsun but i often find datsun guys rocking similar styles to what im doing with my car and I dont really have an active forum to participate in, the vintage mitsu ones are generally pretty dead. I registered on here because I figured I could find some agressive wheel combos on here in 4x114, moreso than other forums I frequent anyhow. People often come up to me and say 'sick datsun dude, what year' when i tell them it's a mitsu they always respond with 'whoa! never seen one' haha
73 Mitsubishi Galant Wagon (dodge colt)
Datsun ZG flares
Work Meister CR-01 15x10/8 combo
here's some pics:

Lets just say that first, sorry Adam about critisizing you and your integrity. I've never met you and from what I've read in the past, I should of trusted you or at least not been so hostile with my words. The fact is yes, people have busy lives and this world doesn't evolve around just myself. Please accept my apologies. I will pay you for the parts and shipping. I'll send you the monies again in the morning. To all of those who actually know you and had words to say. I didn't mean for all this shit to hit the fan. I just wanted a response and got a little more. I'm sorry

It's been a couple weeks since my last update- I've just been driving it around town to local car meets, fine-tuning a few things, and just enjoying having it on the road! I'm happy to say there haven't been any major issues- a couple of times I've had to pull over and adjust the idle on the carb, and I had a bolt fall off while I was driving home the other day- nothing that's put me on the bike, thank goodness!
Parked next to Miles' Rodeo at a small "cars & coffee" thing in Carmichael:
I drove it to work once- the heat around here has kept me from wanting to sit in traffic on the way home, so most days I drive the Mini instead:
I finally got tired of smelling like 2-stroke exhaust every time I drive, so I cut some side panels for the interior quarters and installed a T3 package tray panel. It made the interior a lot quieter, and the smell has been reduced as well. I still need to adjust the fit of everything and put some foam gaskets behind the panels for a proper seal, but I'm already happy with the result.
By the way- if you have a roll cage installed, get ready for fun if you want to put one of those package tray panels in your car! I had to pull one of my pop-out windows to get that fucker in there!!
Air Lift Performance was kind enough to send one of their new air management systems to me, so I got that installed last weekend:
Their 3P and 3H systems use a manifold with an ECU built-in, and everything comes pre-wired, so it's just a matter of connecting battery power and ground, an ignition lead, two wires to your air compressor, and your lines- super easy stuff! Their new controller has a full-color digital display to show pressure reading for each corner and the tank, all of the menu functions, etc. It also has Bluetooth built-in, so you can connect your phone to it and control your airbags wirelessly! I already had their older system installed, and I was very happy with it, but this is even better!
Last Saturday, we rolled out to the Folsom Cars and Coffee - this time Victor came out with his '68 Wagon, too!
We definitely stand out at these things- tons of classic muscle cars and new exotics, and we pull up with these full-custom rides... it's a lot of fun!
Last piece of news to get us caught up- my new license plates came in!!
Y'know- my Mini Cooper- yeah, She Low... But my 510? She Lowr!

OK, where to start, First, Al (Denmarkboy) for supplying the truck and place to work on it. Thanks for all the people that contributed parts, money and labor to make this all happen. My fondest memories of this will be working with some of you on the build days and how the Community came together for this build.
Datzenmike, it was one of your tickets that won the truck, Q-tip gave me the winning ticket. Thank You very, very much
Great to meet you Flatcat
Datwifey, thank you so much for the hats and the workshirts for the work crew on this truck, can't wait to wear it for the next build
This was one of the best weekends ever, My wife was super happy that she won one of the other raffle drawings, now she is going to want to come to all the shows
